Machine Security News Launched at LAMMA 2024

A new FREE publication has been launched at LAMMA 2024, aimed solely at educating farmers, smallholders and machine operators about security and how to stay safe in the ever increasing threat of rural crime.

Commissioned by the team behind the renowned ATVTrac tracking system, Machine Security News aims to be an independent resource focussed on educating the industry about security in a real-world context, talking to the experts and looking at case studies to ensure machine owners are better protected.

ATVTrac’s Rupert Archer-Smith commented, “At many events and shows we talk to farmers, land owners and machine operators about security and their experiences of theft. From our own experience with recoveries on a weekly basis, we’re in a unique position to share what we see, so the creation of a dedicated publication where we can share our insight and other industry expert’s points of view seemed like a great idea.”

In the very first issue of Machine Security News, readers can learn more about how to understand the ratings applied to security products, how best to protect their own machinery, while getting the inside scoop on recoveries from the guys and girls on the scene. On top of the consumer advice, in issue one we talk to NCATT to understand what they do and the advice they offer owners, while the regular ‘Our Story’ feature focusses this month on ATVTrac and how they came to protect machinery over the last decade.

Machine Security News will be free to anyone attending LAMMA 2024 from the ATVTrac stand, available throughout the year at any of the events the team attend, or can be downloaded here:
