Tallis Amos Group and ATVTrac join forces to combat theft

Tallis Amos Group, the leading machinery supplier to the agriculture community in Wales and the West Midlands, has joined forces with ATVTrac, offering the brand’s dedicated security tracking system on all John Deere Gator models sold.

With theft an ever-present concern for farmers and workers, the Tallis Amos Group, who have branches and facilities covering the Cotswolds, West Midlands, Bristol, Welsh Borders, South and West Wales, have taken the proactive step to offer all new John Deere Gator models with the innovative ATVTrac product, offering protection 24/7 thanks to ATVTrac’s proven technology.

Matt Thompson, Group Operations Manager for Tallis Amos, commented, “Theft is certainly a growing concern for everyone involved in agriculture and so we wanted to make sure we offered our customers a proven and effective way to combat it. With smaller utility vehicles, like the Gator, theft is becoming a real issue, affecting not only day-to-day life for our customers but also increasing operating costs due to increased insurance premiums too, so we are very pleased to reach this agreement with ATVTrac.”

With all new Gator models sold by Tallis Amos Group now offered with ATVTrac, owners will have the benefit of logging into the dedicated app (or via web browser) to see the live location of their vehicle, as well as checking battery level and even checking journey history. On top of the security functions that will text, email and call should the vehicle be unlawfully moved, ATVTrac even notifies users when a service is due and can monitor lone workers for added peace of mind too.

ATVTrac’s Rupert Archer Smith, added, “We’re delighted to reach this agreement with Tallis Amos. It’s extremely encouraging to part of such a proactive approach from a supplier and we welcome the opportunity to work alongside the team to benefit customers in the region. Our system has a proven track record with a strong recovery rate, so we’re very confident of making a positive impact on theft in the area.”

ATVTrac is packed full of functionality thanks to the experienced team behind it who have developed the technology for over a decade. The small and discreet unit boasts GPS, GPRS, GSM and RF technology, enabling recovery of stolen machines in some of the most difficult locations.
